📌 7. My Experience
This role was completely non-technical and mainly focused on communication skills. I got this interview opportunity through a referral from a random person I met in the basement of the tower where the TELUS office was located.
The interview process mainly evaluated confidence, communication skills, fluency in English, and clarity while speaking. After a few rounds of discussion, the interviewer suggested that I improve my communication and spoken English fluency before applying again.
Although I did not clear the process, the experience helped me understand how important communication skills are for customer-facing roles.
📌 8. Conclusion
- Do not leave your current job unless you have another offer in hand.
- The market is changing rapidly with AI and automation.
- Practical skills and adaptability are becoming equally important as technical knowledge.
- Communication skills play a major role, even in non-technical interviews.
