📌 9. Questions Asked
The interview focused heavily on pure JavaScript problem-solving and critical thinking. It involved attention to minute details, including communication style and body language. Some questions included: - What is the current population of India? (General awareness) - Conversion between Indian and International numbering systems. - A core question: Given two lists of names, identify the data structures to store them and determine if the lists are the same. (This question tested logic, efficiency, and depth of approach.) The interview spanned 4-5 hours, exploring the solution from ground zero to the most efficient method.
📌 10. Overall Result
Rejected.
📌 11. My Experience
Out of 7-8 interviews I have given elsewhere, none served me water or tea personally. Here, the staff welcomed me warmly, allowed me to sit in an AC cabin, and served water. Later, they offered coffee, which was served in a neat, crystal-clear white cup in the cafeteria. The office ambiance was much better than I expected from online reviews. During the process, I met a director (unknown to me initially) who emphasized old-school interviewing: - Paper-based questions - Deep focus on critical thinking and written English Out of 5 candidates, only 2 progressed beyond initial screening. I was one of them. Throughout the long discussion: - They checked my JavaScript core knowledge. - Higher-order functions were asked, and live implementation referencing MDN documentation was suggested. - It became clear they were looking for strong foundational knowledge, critical thinking, and excellent communication. Ultimately, I realized I lacked hands-on core JavaScript practice and documentation familiarity. They advised me to prepare better and try again.
📌 12. Conclusion
Key Takeaways: - Every small step taken towards a goal leads to success. - Strengthen the core language skills (JavaScript, in this case) thoroughly. - Improve problem-solving skills with a pen-and-paper approach first. - Pay attention to the minute details; critical thinking is built through deep observation and reflection.
