🌟 My Interview Experience at Sparx IT Solutions

📍 Location: H-21, First Floor, Sector 63, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201309

📌 1. Company Overview

Sparx IT Solutions is an ISO 9001:2022 certified digital transformation and technology enabler. It focuses on domains like Healthcare, BFSI, Retail & eCommerce, and Supply Chain. The company has expertise in technologies such as Java, .NET, PHP, Node.js, Native and Hybrid Mobile Apps, and is adopting modern trends like Blockchain, AI/ML, AR/VR, and the Metaverse.

📌 2. Position Applied For

Intern – Software Engineer

📌 3. Resume Shortlisting

This was a walk-in drive for candidates with at least 85% aggregate in (10 + 12) and 75%+ in graduation.

📌 4. Technical Assessment

A written test including MCQs from Verbal, Logical, Arithmetic, Programming Fundamentals, and DSA concepts. Each section had 15 questions.

📌 5. Coding Assessment

Candidates were required to write functions on paper (pen-and-paper coding test).

📌 6. Other Assessments

Group Discussion (GD) round topic: “Is AI a threat or an opportunity for developers in their career?”

📌 7. Face-to-Face Interview

All rounds were conducted in person at the Noida office.

📌 8. Questions Asked

Written Test:
a) Verbal – Reading passages, antonyms, synonyms, sentence corrections. (15 MCQs)
b) Arithmetic – Ratio & proportion, pipes & cisterns, speed, distance & time, SI & CI, 
boats & streams. (15 MCQs)
c) Logical – Series, classifications, statements & conclusions, letter series, analogies, coding-decoding, 
image-based. (15 MCQs)
d) Programming Fundamentals – DSA basics. (15 MCQs)
e) DSA Coding (on paper):
   - Function to check if two strings are anagrams
   - Reverse a linked list
   - Find first non-repeating element in an array

Group Discussion:
Topic: “Is AI a threat or an opportunity for developers in their career?”
    

📌 9. Overall Result

I have not received any official reply yet. This is quite common for service-based companies in Noida Sector 63, unlike structured MNCs or reputed product-based startups.

📌 10. My Experience

I found this opportunity through Naukri. It took daily consistent effort—logging in between 8–9 AM, applying rigorously, and keeping my profile 100% complete. Eventually, I received this interview mail.

The walk-in drive was crowded. Many candidates were filtered out due to the strict academic percentage requirement. The venue was small and felt congested. Despite this, I gave the pen-and-paper test with confidence. Unfortunately, I did not receive any update afterwards. Informally, an HR intern mentioned that the technical panel was very strict, and the selection ratio was very low.

Still, it was a valuable experience. I learned how competitive the process can be and how important strong technical preparation is.
